New Like Milestone and Liking It

Since I have really started to make an effort to put my business foot forward I have seen a real change in what this business can be.  In the last week I hit the 100 like milestone on Facebook which to some might not seem like anything but I was hovering at about 50-60 likes and the majority of them were just friends.  Since I have pushed forward I have seen a great jump in likes and interest in my work.  Which is great for me and my customers because they are getting a good quality service that I work toward.  

To have me sum up the last two weeks, I have been contacted about 5 weddings and two of them I have had responses for which were great.  I have also started to venture into the studio form for when the days I do not have much photography to do.  Especially in the winter it gets me to think outside the box and challenge myself.

 

NEW REFERRAL SYSTEM

I have also started a new referral system, this will be open to any previous client, friend, reader of this blog and just plain anyone really.  I will be offering a referral fee for you if you refer someone to me for a wedding.  I am offering an easy $25 for every $1000 they spend for a wedding.  If they buy a $2000 package, then I will offer the referee $50.  I will also be doing a referral system for other services other than weddings too so keep them coming and I will reward you for the job.

Full Perkasie Fire Company Shoot

A few weeks ago I posted up a sneak peak from a photoshoot I did with the Perkasie Fire Company.  These guys let me attach my rig to their beautiful tower 26 truck.  I had a blast rigging and shooting the truck and guys. When I was on the ground watching my camera be lifted on the tower 80-90 ft in the air was very nerve racking!  I was very impressed with the abilities of the truck and how it assist these guys do their very tough job.

Perkasie Fire Company Photoshoot

Here is a sneak peak from this weekends photoshoot with the Perkasie fire company.   Hanging my camera 120 ft in the air makes me very nervous but well worth the shot!

Boring Wedding

This summer I shot a wonderful wedding of two people I have known throughout college.  When they asked me to shoot their wedding I felt very privileged to have two great people to shoot.  

I have received many comments about the title of their gallery on my site.  Many people have said "that's not very professional to say it was a boring wedding" Actually it was a very exciting wedding with a groom's last name of boring!  Dan and Whitney are a great couple to work with and they were very exciting to work with.  Their wedding was in western PA at an amazing country club with wonderful photo oppertunities.

Nascar Weekend

Kylie and I took a trip up to Pocono Raceway to watch her first nascar race.  Although it was not a very interesting race I managed to get some shots from the pre-race pit pass we got from my dads buddy Rick. (Thanks Rick!) It was the first time I have shot at any Nascar race and without a "real" pitpass I think I did well from behind the fence.
