Senior Portrait Questions & Answers:

 Where are you located?

Throughout the year I am servicing the Baltimore, Eastern Shore area.  I am also currently servicing a radius of 50 miles from Quakertown, PA.

 How early should I book?

I do the majority of my photography in the evenings and weekends because of my full time teaching position at Severna Park High School.  Summer is the only exception where I have shoots throughout the week.

When are the sessions scheduled during the day?

Photographers have two very special times that they work around to make the most out of a shoot.  Early in the morning which we call the "golden hour".  This is usually within the first hour after sunrise.  The other time is a couple hours before sun set which gives me the best light to create amazing photographs.

Can I print my photographs or upload them on Facebook?

The answer is depending on which package you choose for your session.  The premier package allows you the post images on facebook with small watermarks of my business logo.  The elite package supports both printing and uploading on social networking sites.

How long does it take to receive my photographs?

You should receive a few images within the first few days following the shoot and the rest will be presented 7-10 days after the shoot.

What should I wear?

This is one of the questions that gets asked the most.  If you follow a few simple rules it will make the desicsion easier.  Use solid, bold colors as the main expression of yourself.  Using interesting assessories can really accent your outfit as well.  Always bring a bag of different assessories and clothing to allow for quick changes
 Remember: Rules can be broken so have fun!

Get your haircut about a week before your shoot to allow your hair to find it natural shape. 

What type of equipment do you use and do you bring backup equipment?

I use Nikon digital cameras and a large assortment of professional lenses and flashes. These lenses often allow me to shoot without a flash most of the time. That way I can remain inconspicuous and let you go about your day. Just get used to the *click*, *click* constantly during the day ☺.

I also bring backups of everything. Cameras, lenses, flashes, etc…. I’m covered if something happens.
